Thermal waters, hydromassage, Turkish bath, saunas .... Everything it takes (and then some) to reboot mind and body. This is the best wellness caprice in the capital.

The age-old tradition of pampering is more in demand than ever, and the list of the best spas in Madrid continues to grow. We want that sought-after balance between body and mind without having to go very far away. Floating in bubbling water at 30°, then (voluntarily) plunging into ice-cold water to make you forget all your ills, letting the water jets tone your skin and finally a massage: the complete package to come out of a spa session as good as new.
Some of these spas are hidden in the best hotels and gyms in the city, and even if they remain in the background, they are a pleasant surprise for those who have the opportunity to visit them.
1. The Hammam Al Ándalus
The Hammam is one of the best known thermal baths in Spain. The one in Granada, inaugurated twenty-two years ago, was the first Arab bath in the country. In Madrid it is located on Atocha Street and is built on the ruins of an ancient Roman cistern. Inspiration mudejar of the place, the dim light, the perfumes and the Sufi music, undoubtedly, transport the sense to that Andalusian tradition as the name indicates.
